We should have the ability to see at least what limit state or element of the connection is failing without having to open the results output, which is very slow and time-consuming. If we were provided a small list of elements/limit states, we could easily optimize the connection without having to patiently wait for the output to load after each iteration.
Depending on the connection, it would be nice to have a dashboard of plate, beam, column, or concrete (for base plates), etc., with a green check or red "X" as a visual cue to the user. For failing connections, report the controlling limit, such as plate tension, block shear, etc., and any detailing issues.
Hello, this is a great idea, would you prefer to know the critical element failing like plate, beam, column or the critical limit state like plate tension yielding or beam block shear, etc.
