In the current project I am working on, I need to design steel supports for the pipework. In some cases there are torsional moments and their effects on base plate have to be addressed.

At the moment, Base Plate design in RAM Connection does not include the torsional moments. Torsional moments increase the shear deman on anchor bolts and bearing stress at the interface between bolts and plate.

As a result, I think adding this capability will enhance the performance of RAM Connection and reliability of base plate design.
