Many times during troubleshooting operations it would be extremely helpful in being able to see how Elements is calculating stress, etc. It would be a great enhancement to have the option to view and print the detailed calculations rather than just the summary.
Carlos,
Sorry for my slow response to your request. This request is not specific but rather a general one. It came about because I was looking for the coefficient of friction that the software uses for a sliding calculation. It is pretty much totally hidden it seems like. It would be extremely helpful at times when troubleshooting a design to be able to see the calculations that the software is using. I have used software in the past that has this capability and I have found it very useful. An example is Risa Connection. It gives summaries for the designs but if you click on the summaries they will expand and show the calculations used. I know this is a tall order but it would be great for Bentley to consider this in future releases. We know the calculations are there, just why cant we have the privilege to see them if we want?
Thanks,
