Currently, the program seems to only design per NDS provisions for solid-sawn lumber and glulam. It would be beneficial to add the ability to analyze and design LVL, PSL, and other structural composite lumber types. The provisions are very similar to solid sawn, but we can't quite use the program because of minor differences.
Weyerhauser and Boise Cascade are 2 commonly used producers. I think it is less important to include specific suppliers, although it would be nice to a have a few set up as defaults. What designers really need is the ability to invoke the specific design equations that are relevant to engineered wood products per the NDS. We can input manufacturer-specific values for allowable stresses based on what we are specifying in our drawings.
