RAM Elements allows force and moment diagrams to be displayed for individual load cases and load combinations. Envelope values can also be reviewed in separate result windows; however, it is currently not possible to display envelope force and moment diagrams directly in the main model view.

For structural engineers, visualizing the governing internal forces across the entire structure is essential for efficiently reviewing and validating analysis results. The current workflow requires switching between individual load combinations or using separate result windows, making the review of large models more time-consuming.

It would be highly beneficial to add an Envelope Display Mode that allows users to display governing force and moment diagrams directly on the structural model.

The feature could include:

• Display Maximum or Minimum envelope diagrams (currently only one can be viewed at a time).

• Generate the envelope from user-selected load combinations only, instead of automatically including all load cases and load combinations.

• Display envelope diagrams for:

  • Axial force (P)

  • Shear forces (V2, V3)

  • Torsion (T)

  • Bending moments (M2, M3)

• Identify the governing load combination for any member by selecting the diagram or structural element.
