RAM Elements currently allows users to view the deformed shape of a structure; however, displacement results are primarily obtained by querying individual nodes or reviewing result tables.

For medium and large structural models, it is difficult to quickly identify regions with high displacements or understand the overall deformation pattern without manually checking multiple nodes.

It would be highly beneficial to display displacement contour plots directly on the structural model using a color scale, similar to the visualization available for stresses and other finite element results.

The feature could allow users to display:

• Total displacement magnitude.

• Global displacements (Ux, Uy, Uz).

• Rotations (Rx, Ry, Rz), where applicable.

• Contour plots on shell elements and along frame members.

• User-defined color scales and contour ranges.

Additionally, it would be useful to allow displacement contours to be displayed together with the deformed shape, providing a more intuitive understanding of the structural response.
