In the concrete wall module, special boundary element zone requirements are only checked against the displacement method (ACI 18.10.6.2). In ACI 318-14 and 19 section 18.10.6.2 is directed at slender walls with Hw/Lw >= 2.

If the aspect ratio of the wall is less than 2, the boundary zone requirements should be based on section 18.10.6.3. The program does not address this. The wall module only provides a warning for the SBE check, but the overall wall still shows green for an acceptable design. This could result in an unconservative design.
