For a BCW connection the stiffeners can be provided at top and bottom flange location of beam. But in design no calculation is shown for the same. So the need to to introduce AISC Single plate enhancement for BCW plate stiffener thickness checks. Analyze the appropriate criteria to add the stiffener plates thickness and checks regarding them.
