Currently it appears the only options for a flange moment connection plate to the web of a column is for a tapered plate. An option for coped and full depth plates should be included, similar Risa (see attached). I am reinforcing a building because the designer did not understand the implications of analyzing the connection with a tapered plate and specifying a coped plate. This overestimated the width of plate and provided the appearance of thinner than allowable plate thickness.
