When reviewing stress or force contour plots in RAM Elements, all values are displayed using the complete range of results. While this provides the overall distribution, it makes it difficult to focus on specific value ranges during model evaluation.
It would be very useful to allow users to define minimum and maximum display limits for contour plots, similar to the result filtering available in many finite element analysis programs.
For example, users could specify:
Minimum displayed value
Maximum displayed value
Values outside the selected range could be hidden, clipped, or displayed with a uniform color.
This would eliminate the need to manually hide shell or plate elements in order to identify regions where stresses fall within a particular range.
Benefits
Faster interpretation of analysis results.
Easier identification of critical stress regions.
Improved visualization of shell and plate results.
Reduced manual effort when reviewing large finite element models.
More efficient post-processing workflow.
