Sort/Multi Select Load Cases for Analysis in RAM Frame
Enable Sorting and Multi Selection in the RAM Frame Load Case analyze dialogue. We frequently have to run multiple rounds of testing or when doing AISC Direct Analysis Validation create multiple types of wind and seismic loads. Having to scroll th...
Sort Concrete Beam Section Property Data in RAM Modeler
Please add the ability to sort both the section property catalogue and the assign sizes dialogue in RAM Modeler for more efficient workflow.
On concrete buildings, as the design and detailing progresses, we get quite a list of concrete beam size...
Joist self weights are not included in the analysis by default due to varying manufacturer SWs, but you could allow us to specify a self weight in the beam module under the criteria/joists menu.
It would be nice if the integrated RAM Connection would allow a permanent override of brace angle on CBB and CVR connections. RAM SS designs to an analytical line at the top of the beams, and we design braced frame connections to the centerline. t...
Continuous Footing - Option to not consider perpendicular footings
Provide an option so that perpendicular footing loads are not applied to the continuous footing. I'm not sure I understand why the program does this in the first place. It seems like you are accounting for the load twice under the current rules.
Provide a command to copy beam span reinforcing for beam span to adjacent Beam Line similar to the "Copy beam line to beam line." This is a "time saving" feature. This feature would need to "overlook" beam lentgh differeces.
RAM Concrete Beam Module - Effective Depth d for different Beam Directions
It is common to set the primary steel effective depth "d" at one depth for all beams in one direction (ie, North / South). The used a different effective "d2" depth for the transverse beams reinforcing steel (ie, East / West) to pass below. This c...
